Feb. 10, (Wed.), 11:00 am Wolf River Greenway Trail Groundbreaking. Mayor A.C. Wharton will lead the groundbreaking ceremonies for the first leg of Memphis Park Service’s 22-mile, $30 million, Wolf River Greenway trail system. It is being designed and built to connect Memphis neighborhoods, Downtown’s Riverfront Parks, Shelby Farms Park, the Wolf River Wildlife Area at Collierville and many other public parks, facilities and schools in the river corridor. Ceremony will be held at the intersection of Walnut Grove Road and Humphreys Blvd., just east of the Walnut Grove Wolf River Bridge. Signs will designate a parking area on the north side of Walnut Grove. For more info., click HERE.
